I would love to email you so you can give me advice about things to do with my hair to take better care of it. my hair is already naturally but I feel like it is not as healthy as it could be. I would really appreciate it, thanks so Much!

I would love to know what you do to your hair and how do you get it to grow?

Beautiful! I watch your channel for inspiration honey. I went natural 3/7/2010 via the dreaded BC…LOL. :-) I totally relate to your reasons for going natural. Preach girl!

  7. Monikblessed Says:

Very Pretty. I am 44 years old and I started twisting my hair and wearing it natural in the mid-eighties. I am so sorry I never thought to turn it into a business. However, I remember some people thought I was crazy back then and some black women told me that black men don’t like the natural hair. I could go on and on, but I will say that I am glad black women have grown to new levels in our natural hair care.

Thank you so much! I really appreciated your video and your honesty. I am “newly” natural about one month now! I have been encouraged by so many women like you who have lead the way! I watched many videos but yours is the first that I commented on. I would love yo see a tutorial on the “yellow” hair style was pinned on one side. Loved it =)

I agree with you in this video. I received a lot more “pressure” from people inside my home and family than outside of my home: “Why don’t you do something with your hair?”, “Why don’t you get a perm?”…hard to avoid those things inside the home, and for me, it outweighed the positive comments from strangers outside.

I’ll probably go natural again next year.

    Way to inspire. :]

  16. cl3x18999 Says:

@CuracaoPrincess Way to go for one year natural. I was natural for a while, but the “pressure” you speak of is all too real.

Girl – you know you touch soooo many hearts, including mine!
    Luv ya!

  18. CuracaoPrincess Says:

Waaaw, thanks for sharing.. I’m one year natural. have been struggling for 4 years. I ended up perming my hair everytime because of the pressure. . . Am having those temptations now.. But watching your video re-inspired me to continue this journey. Thanks for sharing

  23. quita1284 Says:

i can really agree with you when u say being natural spills off into other facets of your life. When I started paying attention to the chemicals in my hair products, I also find myself paying attention to the ingredients in the foods I eat. I also started consuming more fruits and vegatables and cut back on a lot of junk food. Jus thought I share. I luv your vids and congrats on your success and future endeavors. Be Blessed 8)
