The hoax of modern medicine: 7 facts you need to know

www.encognitive.com This accessible study about the collusion between medical science and the drug industry emphasizes how drug companies market their products by either redefining problems as diseases (like female sexual dysfunction) or redefining a condition to encompass a greater percentage of the population. Moynihan, a health journalist for the New England Journal of Medicine and the Lancet, and Cassels, a Canadian science writer, note, for instance, that eight of the nine specialists who wrote the 2004 federal guideline on high cholesterol, which substantially increased the number of people in that category, have multiple financial ties to drug manufacturers. Physicians now routinely prescribe cholesterol-lowering pills (statins) that may have perilous side effects, when many people could lower their risk of heart attack with less costly and dangerous steps, such as exercise and improved diet. Through aggressive merchandising, funding of medical conferences and expensive perks, drug companies win doctors over to diagnosing these “diseases” and prescribing drugs for them. Science and medicine writers Moynihan and Cassels conjecture that most Americans believe, based on information gleaned from a deluge of pharmaceutical-company advertisements, that conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, menopause, and chronic constipation are bona fide diseases. They quote reputable medical experts, however, who refute such understandings. What’s more, they suggest that

@DomNNatious Is that a reference to how I look like, or rather how my BROTHER looks like in his DISGUISED video?

  2. Drsilmi Says:

@HashFSeven WoW, I’m still getting replies for this?
Go to my other comments on this video and you’ll know what I mean by what I said, and cool off a bit, anger is shown to have detrimental effects on health, don’t have a heart attack over this

  3. DomNNatious Says:

    @Drsilmi its funny how you’re all… @_@

  4. HashFSeven Says:

@Drsilmi Me and my wife have been 100% RAW and VEGAN for over six months now and we have not had a single head ache, any illness, my HAY FEVER cured, my wife’s DYSLEXIA cured, her EYE sight cured, we are so energised, have amazing mental clarity have NOT touched any medicine during this whole time & only need a few hours of sleep every night as we are not tired any more. I wonder why NO doctor ever told me about it? I don’t have any cravings for alcohol or smoking why because its FREE, FREE!

  5. HashFSeven Says:

@Drsilmi REALLY, You call your self a DOCTOR? “Let thy food be your medicine” ever heard of that? I suffered from LACTOSE intolerance for over SEVEN years & the UK DOCTORS were USELESS & CLUELESS as I had to find out myself, treat myself even after OPERATING on me, cutting me open, giving me Anti Biotic for over FIVE years, telling me its an INGROWN hair when i started to have pus filled cyst week after week for FIVE years.

I truly believe that statins caused my father to have a stroke. At 75 his doctor said he had some plaque in his arteries (never effected him from what I saw) and prescribed a statin. After that it was all downhill, muscle wasting, weight loss, pain, eventually onto oxygen, amnesia, dementia and eventually a fatal bleeding stroke at 79.

  9. dragonseptor Says:

Oh yes there is a great drug that wipes out
toe fungus. The only side affect is it damages the liver, hey but it make for a nice corpse.

  10. dragonseptor Says:

At least there is an admission of guilt

  11. drkellyhutson Says:

No, I treat what the patient comes in for but I don’t offer lifestyle advice unless prompted by the patient. I refuse to waste my time trying to convince patients to stop smoking, eat their vegetables or exercise. Anyone over the age of 5 knows these things and unless their lifestyle choices are a direct contributor to their condition, I don’t bother.

  12. tatecheddar Says:

Ok. Let me reread that…. You’re a doctor? You actually just said that you won’t actually help another person unless “they” know what they need? I sincerely hope you lose your job and have a very eye opening experience. If you don’t care about others well being then why are you a doctor? Don’t you realize that they haven’t been through school and they don’t know whats wrong with them? That’s what you’re there for you dolt!! Get your damn head on straight or rethink your life. How dare you!!!

  13. kakudmi Says:

They may have good intentions, but since they don’t know the cause of any disease or pain, they cannot really help you. In this way, while offering help, they are actually cheating. If you ask a stranger to teach you how to play a piano,he may have all the best intentions to teach you,but at the end,you will be cheated, simply because he didn’t say,I cannot help you, I don’t play piano. In the same way, all doctors should say, I cannot help you, because I don’t know the root cause of your problem.

  14. drkellyhutson Says:

That’s not necessarily true. I know several doctors that don’t see patients as dollar signs and truly care about their long-term well-being… granted they’re all chiropractors, not medical doctors, but to put the blanket “doctor” on there is a bit of an overstatement.

The problem with teaching wellness is that people just don’t care. After 7 years of practice I don’t even try anymore unless a patient specifically asks me what they need to do to stay well.

  15. jackson32 Says:

One thing that is under many peoples radar is Tylenol.

Acetaminophen (tylenol) causes three times as many cases of liver failure as all other drugs combined, and is the most common cause of acute liver failure in the United States, accounting for 39% of cases.

I copy and pasted this from the notoriously establishment biased Wikipedia and it is based on mainstream sources.

  16. NeuroParadise Says:

yes and the benefits of apricot kernels and berry seeds has come to light as well… I will be adding them to my diet from now on.

  17. canaan1967 Says:

Lemon juice and Apple Cider Vinegar break up Calcium Oxalate kidney stones. My urologist had no financial incentive to tell me this. Instead he and a rep from my PCP let me suffer in pain both from the stone and from the surgery (stent insertion). TWICE IN FOUR YEARS.

  18. parK9 Says:

drugs are over-priced but they do help. my dad needs a shot every day to live cause of type 1 diabetes. i will say if he would have ate right it wouldnt have happen and before he got really sick from it my dad didnt see a doctor or dentist for more then 20 years but since hes been giving himself shots hes been fine ^_^

  19. eb352mm Says:

you little bitch youre going to be making money of poison so offcourse youre going to tell us this shit.

  20. Yimmery Says:

So you haven’t read the BMJ 2004 report on adverse drug reactions in which ACE inhibitors are mentioned as causing kidney problems, low blood pressure and electrolyte disturbance?

  21. Yimmery Says:

Vioxx – 50,000 deaths from cardiac arrest

Ritalin – Risk of sudden death

Anti depressants – black box warning for suicide

Zyban and Chantix – black box waring for suicide, depression and hostility.

    and many more…..

If its that bad then why dont you know about it by now?

That would probably be because it is unbelievable and the people that would tell you know that the more blue in the face they can get telling you, then the more you laugh at them, so they dont bother.

  22. elelisrael Says:

if your not sick. dont take medicines. all this Ritalin and bullshit like that fuck up your body

  23. Procrastinator69 Says:

    1. This video does not say people should stop taking imperative medications 2. Nor does it say doctors are guilty or instigating these crimes. It is trying to say that the medical system and other systems relating to it is inherently flawed. Do your own research and you will find out SO MANY drugs that actually cure the problem completely such as cancer when researchers got close to a cure, surprise surprise they get scrapped, because of larger drug companies.

  24. kakudmi Says:

Boy, are you in for a huge surprise!!!!
You couldn’t be more in illusion. Doctors are there to make money, nothing else. If legal system allows them to sell drugs, even better.
OK ask your dad if he knows the root cause of any disease or disorder? Start with the flu, or runny nose if you like. Ask him what causes that, and keep asking that question every time he tries to answer. If it’s a chemical imbalance, ask him what causes that. See how far you will get. Doctors know nothing, for real.

  25. kakudmi Says:

Naturally, being a student of medicine you will support it, otherwise you’d have to admit one huge failure in your life. No one expects medical students (agents) to easily admit that the science behind the whole modern medicine is false and cures NO diseases whatsoever.
