I feel the same way. I could imagine having this my whole life. I was diagnosed when I turned 21. It has been a life changing experience and I do believe staying mentally strong and talking about this disease has really helped me to stay focused on every day life. We all have to be strong when dealing with this disease…its not easy though…eating right and staying on the meds is also extremely important

I have a severe case of JRA and have been on many medications and had three joint replacements. Keeping a positive additude and attempting to maintain as normal of a life as possible, while still recognizing the disease has helped. I am not fixing to graduate from college and, although it is tough at times, I have made it through. These types of videos are helpful for kids all over the world who need someone to identify with. Hang in there!

JRA really does suck, I was diagnosed with it when I was around 2. That girl is doing a good job with keeping going, and it probably helps that she has a mom willing to let her stop doing something if it hurts.
