@ToolsnFire No, it’s not true. There is nothing wrong with eating meat, but Fuhrman wants much less of our total calories to come from animal products.

@iamhealthyandwealthy, also quality animal products are best for our health. Though we are cooked food -arians more so than carnivores, but clearly we are omnivores, and animal products are vital for our best health and strength.

Another reason to avoid the Vegan Diet is EFA deficiency, primarily DHA/EPA. Plant based Omega3 efa, known as Alpha Linolenic acid has to be converted for your body to use as DHA/EPA, this conversion rate in humans is very low, usually at a rate of 1-4%. Jesus, the saviour of the world ate fish, it should be ok for everyone else.

Yes the best foods for health is raw fruits and vegetables. Even raw organic sprouts are great for health, but not necessary.

I have greatly improved my health adding NANOGREENS10, a mixture equal to 10 vegetables a day. And adding fiber. Recovering well from Hodgkins Lymphoma…….I also eat more fruits and vegetables…….best wishes
