i believe long cardio training can be an effective way to lose weigh and gain muscle because people who are significantly over weigh or out of shape can’t handle interval training because it’s difficult. long walks and such helps u build up endurance and burn more calories. I think you just have to add even more protien because your breaking down more and weight lift also

Runners have no muscle? How can they run long distances? I had an extremely overactive thyroid which attacked my muscles once it had eaten away most of the fat on my body. I couldn’t climb a flight of stairs without having to drag myself up using the banister. How are these athletes managing? Really enjoying these vids but curious about this one.

so in short i am saying that cardio creates long fiber muscle that burns more fat than any other muscle and with the right diet you can gain endurance without loosing the muscle mass “look”.You’ll in fact be burning more fat than almost any other athlete, wit the exception of swimmers.
Example of a cardio master Michael Phelps. Dos he look skinny to you?
if you recall summer olympic specials on Phelps you’ll see the great amount of carbs, lactic acids and sugar, hey eats while he is training

the reason why most people lose so much mass while doing intense cardio training is because cardio training DEMANDS the most energy than any other work out. A common mistake made by people trying to lose weight doing cardio exercise is the small amount of food the they have in their diet. cardio DEMANDS energy for LONG periods of time and if your body runs out nutrients to supply your long fiber muscle (cardio muscle) your body will break down mass muscle(short fiber) around it to get energy

i enjoy your insight on alot of topics good sir
but im going to have to disagree on your view on cardio being bad and losing muscle that helps you keep your metabolism up
cardio creates a different type of muscle called long fiber muscle(strength training creates short fibber muscle)
Long fiber muscle’s mitochondria creates ATP(your gas/fuel for almost everything in your body) by burning lactic acid (Fats). cardio burns more fat than any other work out.

are you sayin’ 30 to 50 cal. per day? I am losing weight quick, but also strength training, and gaining strength so I hope I am on the right track. I’ll look into the interval training.
Cheers, man

Good Video. Building muscle can be difficult and time consuming if you are a hard gainer. I struggled for so long to add mass and muscle to my body, i worked my butt off at the gym and saw no noticable results. I was introduced to vince delmontes no nonsense muscle building and it changed my whole perspective on working out. I gained 25 pounds in a few months. Check the link on my profile to visit my website and learn how to gain muscle today. Please don’t mark as spam i am trying to help

He makes an excellent point about interval training. It IS more efficient. It’s also murder on your joints if you have problems with them.

I get leaner from carbs than from low carbs.
It depends on what carbs. It it´s healthy carbs like whole wheat and some fruits and greens it will make you burn more calories when you eat them. It´s not good to eat a lot of unhealthy fats. I agree that you need protein in all of your meals to keep your muscles.

Yeah it´s good if you eat right you will lose weight. Is that high intensive cardio like running or something?
Other than that you can walk a lot. It´s good to go and walk before breakfast for 30 – 60 minutes or a couple of hours after a meal preferably a lowcarb meal.
