I couldnt agree with you more scott6113! Its astonishing that there are ‘artists’ (i use the term very loosely!) in the charts today that cant sing a note in tune and she was turned down by music boses for being too diverse!!!!!!!!!!!

She’s gone now. Sometimes I think we’re all here for learning, and when we’ve learned what we came here for, we go.
Somewhere there are moments like these, little coffeeshops, clubs, someone trying to make it, giving the audience more than anyone already famous. Go out and see. You might catch one.
And you know, it was undiagnosed melanoma that got her, too young. If we had universal health care, maybe she’d be with us still. Something’s wrong with a society that makes an Eva Cassidy disposable

Some adaptations of songs are pretentious and some are pure magic. This falls into the second catagory. What makes this so special is that she pours her soul onto the stage. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

This woman was amazing. This is when i think of life being unfair. There are so many horrible people who are allowed to keep living, and we have to financially support them, and then people like Eva are taken from us. Her music will live on forever though. Eva, you are now over the rainbow. Be at peace.

This woman and this song are extremely rare. Rare in the sense that they can transport you to the innocence of childhood, confront you with the importance of adulthood and gently tender your fears for the future.
