Bah, I’ve had cats all my life and I ended up becoming severely allergic to them to the point where I can’t go inside a home that has an indoor cat without breaking out in bumps. :/ This whole thing is more like a cointoss.

Because early exposure to something that may cause asthma may help help the body build up a resistance / immunity to it. It’s the same reason that some people expose their kids to chicken pox – the body builds up a natural immunity.

If you grow up with cats you are way less likely to develop an allergic reaction to cats. This doesn’t mean that you won’t get asthma – but it does make sense that it could help.

  12. Hellamund Says:

Sure, if the kid doesn’t die from asthma attacks, first. Seriously, this video is kind of stupid, cats cause asthma, why in the world would they prevent it?

  13. SlaughterMcKill Says:

Eugenics is even better at preventing Asthma, but Freedom is doing all it can to bring us all down to the bottom of the genetic barrel.

This video published assumptions, not research facts. Why the hell do they do that? For public relations?
