Question by : Does a low carb diet lower the amount of good bacteria in your gut?
If I go on a low carb diet, will it lower the amount of good bacteria in my gut?

Also, if I take probiotics, will they be able to be sustained in my gut on a low carb diet or will the probiotics be ineffective in providing benefits if I am on a low carb diet?

Probiotic bacteria rely on complex carbohydrate to function and I’m afraid a low carb diet can seriously affect that. Even with the probiotics, the bacteria can’t work effectively without the carbohydrates as fuel so I really would not recomend this as a diet. X

Question by : Can Diet pills risk your chances of ever becoming pregnant?
I Am about to start taking diet pills after trying to diet for the last 2 years and being unsuccessful. Would taking diet pills decrease my chances of ever becoming a mam? If so I will NOT take the pills.

Also I am on antibiotics: Flucloxacillin and If I do take these diet pills, will the antibiots stop the diet pills working?

You should talk to your doctor before starting diet pills. There are many kinds and there are a variety of problems and side effects that go with them. A perfect body doesn’t come in a bottle. If it did everyone would have one. I’ve never heard of diet pills effecting your fertility but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Most diet pills are full of caffeine and many do not work. To lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume. You need to eat right AND exercise. There is No easy way out. Most diet pills that do work you will find when you stop taking them you gain all the weight back and twice as fast as you lost it. You shouldn’t lose more than 2 pounds a week. Weight loss faster than that is unhealthy.
