I have flat feet, which results in back/foot/leg pain and fatigue after standing still for long periods of time. I do have orthotic inserts for my shoes, but that doesn’t stop the pain.
What kind of medication could I talk to my doctor about regarding such an issue? Something that can relieve or possibly numb the pain but keep me coherent during extended periods of standing still? (like orthodox church services for example, which can last as long as 6 hours during the week of easter)

Best answer:

Answer by Judith
You should use Tramadol, it is the best about it you can get information from here http://webmd25.notlong.com/AAbLjOg

devchengkalath.com The Marching Bridge Core Stability Physical Therapy Exercise Described By Toronto Physical Therapist Dev Chengkalath An important component in low back pain rehabilitation is to stabilize the spine and pelvis while mobilizing the hips. The marching bridge is an excellent exercise that accomplishes both the above goals while being a bit tougher than the basic bridge. Start by lying on your back, both knees bent and your hands by your sides. From this position, brace your abdominal muscles (core) without pushing your belly out or sucking it in. Basically, keep your stomach tight. Contract your buttocks as you lift your hips off the ground and drive them towards the ceiling. Don’t let your pelvis shift side to side. Focus on keeping your torso in the same position throughout the movement while moving exclusively through your hips. Don’t sag or move through your back at all. While squeezing through your glutes, try to keep your hamstrings or back of your thighs as relaxed as possible. Remember to breath normally. At the top position, lift one leg up, keeping the knee bent and then return it back to the ground. Alternate between left and right legs while keeping the hips up, core tight and torso rigid. Once you’ve completed your desired number of reps, return to the starting position. Key points: -only work in your pain free range -keep your abdominals tight for the whole exercise -all bridging movements should take place at the hips -squeeze your glutes as …

Question by : What could help reduce or eliminate lower back pain in old people?
My grandmother has lately been having serious back pain, and we don’t know what to do anymore. She has been to a few doctors, and all they could’ve done was give pain killers which doesn’t help. Just now she was crying about it, and says that it’s her lower back that pains very badly, especially when she walks, and after walks. Her whole body has been going seriously downwards after she fell and splintered her hip bone which she received surgery on a year ago. Please, I need some serious advice that helps!

Best answer:

Answer by John
It might be the way she sleeps. If she sleeps on her back tell her to rest a pillow on her legs. If she rests on her stomach tell her to rest a pillow on her stomach. You have to get a fancy padding system if she sleeps on her side.

All of these should help alleviate the pain and straighten out her back when she is sleeping.
